For my card I used a hostess set, Floral Wings that coordinates with the Bold Butterfly dies.
I am also entering this one in the following challenges
My card share today is a case of a card my upline made, it uses one of my new favorite sets again Watercolor Wings, I didn't realize until lately how much I use butterflies on my cards. This set makes you want to use them. It is three step stamping and the look you get looks like you actually used watercolors on it. This also comes in a bundle where you get the stamps and dies for a 15% savings. The tiny butterflies on the bottom of my card are from the Perpetual Calendar set.
Today I am playing with some retired Stampin Up, but still some of my faves. I needed a 40th birthday card for a friend and the Lama from the set The Herd has the perfect face for my greeting which is also from a retired set Hooray it's your Day and the On Film thinlits are also retired.
Even though these products are retired, there are lots of great products in the new catalog AND the Holiday Mini is coming up. I will let you in on a secret, we as demos get to order from the holiday mini on August 1st even though it doesn't go live until Sept 1st, well....if you sign up as a demo on August 4th ...wait for it...You can also order from the holiday mini before it goes live!! You can make your kit with product from either catalog you want for only $99 bucks, how cool is that?!?
When I saw the challenge at Less is More of Snippet, I knew what card I wanted to make. My Granddaughters birthday is this Saturday and when I seen THIS card by a fellow demonstrator I knew I had to CASE it because Addi loves Minnie.
To make my card I sponged the clouds using soft sky, for the sun I used Kinda Eclectic and the polka dots on the balloon and string are fromCelebrate Today. My snippet is the bow on the balloon, I punched two hearts from the Owl Builder punch, and put them together to make the bow. The greeting is from a past Paper Pumpkin kit. I love those kits because they comes with exclusive stamp sets and Stampin' Spot inks that are great to travel with.
Public Service Announcement
