Ombre' Roses

Another card made for a friend who lost her mother this past year. I don't have the Hero Arts Ombre' inks so I made my own ombre' effect using Tim Holtz distress inks and some sponging. I will have the tutorial up on the Sweet 'n Sassy blog on Monday, so make sure to check it out.

Happy

My Card share today uses the new Happy die released this month from The Stamps of Life. I  used a embossing folder from TSOL also, Regal & Flower Burst  they come in a package of two.  I used the inlaid die technique with the word Happy, I love the look you achieve by using this technique.

Krafty Poppies

Hi there, and thanks for stopping by!
With Mother's day being only a couple weeks away, I had to get started on my Mother's Day cards. I usually send out at least 10 or more Mother's Day cards, do I have that many Moms, of course not. I lost my Mom when I was in my 20's and since then I make and send out cards to those who have lost their Mom within the last year and this is their first mother's day without her, because it's just hard!
For this card I used the Precious Poppies set, one of my all time favorites of Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.  I embossed the image with white embossing powder and then colored over the white with Copic markers, only to leave just a touch of white showing.

Timeless Grad

Hi there and thanks for stopping by!
Today I am playing with a couple sets from The Stamps of Life, minionsie2cut and graduation2celebrate. I love one of the newest sets graduation2celebrate because it is a timeless stamp set, you can use it for any year of graduation, even make a baby card with their future graduation date. how cool is that!?!

You

Quick card share for today using the color combo from Colour Q and the current sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.
To make my card, I used the Stacked with Love DSP stack, I love how this design paper has a black and white side to it, so it can be used all year around. On the inside I used the word "you" from the Hello You thinlits.
