Bright Future

I am up on the Sweet 'n Sassy blog today, sharing this card made with a new release and an older favorite

For my card I started with a black top folding card base and a white stitched panel. I made the background by randomly stamping the diamond from the new set Worthy King to cover the panel and colored them in with Copic markers.
I made a focal point with one of the quotes from the set Faith Quote Blocks.
I embossed the greeting in white embossing powder and then colored the word "bright" and the heart with comic markers.

Worthy King is in the Creative Worship line, I wanted to show it can be used for a card as well.

Sending Some Happy

It's time for another challenge at AAA Cards,  our sponsor is Uniko and the winner gets to choose an instock stamp set of their choice.

We would love for you to play along just be sure your card is CAS and uses watercolor of some sort.

For my card I started with a white top folding A2 card base and some watercolor paper cut down with a stitched die. I embossed the flowers from the Lil' inker Designs set Inky Flowers in white and then used Zig cleancolor pens to make a watercolor wash over them. The greeting is also from Lil' Inker designs from the set Hello Beautiful.

It's time for another challenge at Addicted to CAS, I am the hostess for this challenge and I chose the keyword wood.  Our sponsor is Stamplorations with a $10 voucher to their store.

One of my reasons for choosing the keyword wood is this gorgeous Barnwood Background stamp from Concord & 9th.
To make my card I started with a top folding card base and a stitched panel cut with the Blueprints 15 die from My Favorite Things, if you can't tell yet this is  my go to die for stitched panels on my cards. I also used the Pretty Petals set  for the blossom and the greeting is from another set Brushed Blossoms. I am so smitten with Concord & 9th, they have some gorgeous sets.

Calling All Sistahs

Happy Friday!
It's time for our monthly blog hop reminding all of our Sistah's to check themselves and schedule their mammograms if it's that time. It just happens to be that time for me to get em squeezed, as a matter of fact today even.

Our focus this month is Love, let your sistah know how much she is loved. For my card I used the Truth Is set along with the Word Ribbon set from the Calling All Sistahs collection to let my friend know she is loved.

Did you know that 50% of the proceeds from all sales from the Calling All Sistahs collection goes towards breast cancer research? yep so place your order and help us find a cure for this horrible disease.
And Michele (owner of CAS-ual Fridays stamps) is giving away two gift certificates to two random commenters pulled from comments left by the 19th so be sure to comment on everyone's blog for a chance to win.

Much Love

Happy Thursday!
Between the bath remodel and everything else that was going on I didn't get to share many valentine cards as I would have liked, so since its still February and that is the "love" month I am going to continue to share.
This card uses some products from Concord & 9th, I tell ya they have quickly become one of my most favorite stamp companies.
T make this card I started with a white A2 card base and  a white stitched panel cut down with the Blueprints 15 die from My Favorite Things. I took the string part of Heartstrings die and placed it on the stitched panel and ran it through the bigshot. Next I nested the string part of the heart inside the large heart and cut it out, along with two large hearts out of acetate to make the shaker. Their Heartstrings die makes the best shaker card. I placed the sequins inside the acetate hearts separated by foam tape and then placed my cut out heart on top.    By cutting out the string part of the heart in the stitched panel it gives it a 3D look. I added a small heart cut out of pink glitter paper and the greeting from the Brushed Blossom set to finish the card.

I am entering this one in the challenge at

Hello Love

It's time for another challenge at Addicted to Stamps & More, so I get to share another Valentines or Anniversary card with you.

This card was super simple to make, I used a top folding white A2 card base and a panel cut down with a stitched die from the Blueprints 15 dies from My Favorite Things. To that I added two diecut hearts from the Sunshine Wishes thinlits  and the greeting from the Sealed with Love set.
Lots of white space =CAS hope you will play along with us.
