Less Is More

Last one for today but stop back by tomorrow because I have more to share, I have been working on some cards for my classes and for the Creative Crew February challenges.
This one uses that same beautiful DSP Best Day Ever and again I colored a strip of Dazzling Diamonds with Calypso Coral Blendabilites.  I cut out half of the butterfly in my strip of paper and then doubled my stamped images from Butterfly Basics and added some pearls.
The greeting is from the set  B.Y.O.P which is a very versatile covers everything from Baby to Graduation in one set.

I am entering this one in the Sketch challenge at Less is More

Baby Snuggles

To make this card I started with a Whisper White A2 card base and again used the Best day Ever DSP that you can earn free with a $50 purchase. There are so many pretty colors in this paper and with being soft I thought it would make a great baby girl card. I used a  new photopolymer set Snuggles & Smooches, to show it can be used for other things other than Valentines. To make my glittery banner, I took some Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper and colored it with a Calypso Coral Blendabilites marker.

I used the current sketch from
Freshly Made Sketches

Some Bunny

For tonights late night card  I used a cute Valentine set from Sweet 'n Sassy, Valentine Critters.

I also used this weeks sketch at

I flipped the sketch and put my strip of paper at the bottom instead of the top so the bunny could rest his heart in the cut out space. I also die cut two little hearts to follow the sketch.

#Happybirthday Friend

One more quick card before bed, that I made for some challenges that are ending soon.
I used a set from the 2015 Occasions catalog, Balloon Bash. I stamped the balloons in Coastal Cabana and Strawberry Slush and the greeting in Chocolate Chip. I drew a border around the balloons and  added friend to the greeting using a brown marker.
The sketch is the current sketch at
Freshly Made Sketches.

A Snowman For Caleb

My card today was made for a little boy named Caleb who is battling cancer and has a grandmother who makes cards, so he loves receiving them and wants to receive a card from someone in every state. I thought a snowman on my card would be approbate since it's coming from Colorado, where we have lots of snow. I used a Stampendous stamp I bought before Christmas and hadn't got a chance to ink it up yet and this was the perfect opportunity!
If you would like to send Caleb a card contact me and I will give you the address.

Mixed Media Love

Happy Sunday!
Today's card is a mixed media card. I started with a cream cardstock cut to an A2 sized base and the image panel slightly smaller. I stamped my heart image from Hero Arts randomly to create my background. Next I took a Tim Holtz Stencil and some embossing paste that I colored with a distress re inker, and spread it over the hearts I wanted to pop from the stencil.  I added a thin piece of May Arts ribbon and placed the die cut "love" by Lawn Fawn on top to finish my card.
