Weekend Retreat Fun

I shared this one this morning on A Scrap N Place blog, and just now getting to share on my own blog. I held a little mini retreat at my home this weekend. We made lots of great things and had lots of fun, but let me tell ya, I am Beat!

To make my card I used some polka dot paper from Canvas Corp and a cute bunny from memory Box. The die behind the bunny if from CAS-ual Fridays.

Thanks for stopping by and I will be back tomorrow with my first post for my new DT, The Stamps of Life.

Longing for Spring

I am also on the Sweet 'n Sassy blog today, sharing this card that uses an older set,

I don't know about you but here in Colorado it has snowed at some point during the day, everyday for the last two weeks and we have snow in our forecast this weekend and next week as well, even though we need the moisture, I am longing for spring. This set depicts spring with the birds and the gorgeous roses and it's so fun to color.
Thanks for stopping by and stay warm

Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

The day has finally arrived and it's time for the spring Coffee Lovers hop. I have to admit I am not a coffee lover per say but I do love Hot Cocoa and a Chi Tea Latte.  There are lots of prizes to be given out and if you are a coffee, Tea, or Cocoa lover then you should play along. You can find the linkup and info HERE
The Hop will run from today through March  6th, and prizes will be given out the duration of the hop.

Look at all these prizes

For my card I used a set from Precious Remembrance Shop. I know it doesn't look to springy, it's been snowing everyday here on Colorado, maybe tomorrow :)

Make sure to play along and leave comments for a chance to win some prizes

Wishes Your Way

Hi Stampers, and thanks for stopping by.
The card I am sharing today I made for a couple challenges one being the color challenge at Splitcoast Stampers this week of Blackberry Bliss, Pear Pizzaz and pool Party. I loved this color combo so I had to play along.
To make my card I started with a Whisper White card base A2 size, next I cut a panel out of Pool Party the same length but a half inch shorter on the sides. I them stamped my flowers from the Crazy About You set in Blackberry Bliss, Masked them off and stamped the leaves from Kinda Eclectic in Pear Pizzaz. The butterfly from Butterfly Basics, was stamped in Pool Party and punched out with the Bitty Butterfly punch and a tiny rhinestone was added to it to finish the card.

I also was inspired by this weeks sketch at

I am also entering it in the challenge at

I hope the small butterfly and rhinestone count as mini

Hi there, thanks for stopping by.
Quick card share using the Butterfly Basics and Butterfly Thinlits die. I started with a white card base A2 size and cut a panel 5 1/2 x 4 and impressed the large butterfly using Bermuda Bay ink, and then cut the smaller butterfly using Whisper White and added an embellishment to the center, then colored the center rhinestone to match the butterfly. Before placing the panel on my base I stamped the border also with Bermuda Bay.

I am entering this one over at
Less Is More for their Wings challenge.

Monochromatic Baby

Hi there and thanks for stopping by!
We have had snow all weekend, so I have been in my studio getting ready for a mini retreat I am having this coming weekend here at my home. This is one of the cards we will be making along with lots of other projects.
To make this card I used a couple different sets. the dots are from a SAB set, Best Day Ever (which is free with a $50.00 order). I stamped the dots from the Best Day Ever set in Versamark, embossed them in white and then sponged Pink Pirouette over them and stamped them again in Pink Pirouette.  The tag is from a set in the Occasions catalog, One Tag Fits All. I used my MISTI to stamp it and it was so easy to line them up. I added a Pink Pirouette ribbon (retired) to finish it off.
I am entering this one in a couple challenges
