It's time for another encouragement challenge at Calling All Sistahs
Congratulations to the winner from last month.
Our challenge is to use the inspiration photo below to create a card to send someone a word of encouragement as they go through a struggle. It doesn't have to be cancer it can be for someone who has lost someone, lost a job, or just needs a word of encouragement. The real challenge is will you mail it? I love to go to the mailbox and find happy mail instead of or with the bills, always makes my heart happy.
oh and
There is a prize involved as well, a $25 voucher to CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and if you use CAS-ual Fridays products and are the winner it will increase to $50

here is the inspiration photo

To make my card I started with a white top folding note card and a white panel cut down with a scalloped stitched die. To make the background, I coated a clear block with the Antique Linen distress ink and spritzed it with water and pressed it on the panel. Next I stamped the sprigs of leaves from the Casual Comfort set in Garden Party and Lime Ricky inks by Catherine Pooler and to finish the card I added the greeting from the Breathe set in Icing on the Cake ink also by Catherine Pooler

Calling All Sistahs November Reminder

Happy Friday!

It's the 17th of the month and it's October and it's time for the Calling All Sistahs reminder to check your girls. I have quite a few friends still fighting this horrible disease at the present time, so please get your mammograms so you are not added to the count and if you are one of my friends fighting this horrible disease, Fight like a Girl!
As I have said before I lost my mom to breast cancer at a young age and I am a survivor myself so cancer hits home with me and I do not want any more of my friends to have to fight this horrible disease.

Cancer can be beaten if caught early so please do self exams and get your mammograms once a year if thats what the doctor suggests. You can also help find a cure by purchasing products from the Calling All Sistahs line where 50% of the profits go towards breast cancer research.

Now for my reminder card.

This is a really simple cad to make. I started with a Top folding white note card and a panel cut down with a stitched die. Using the MISTI to line them up and some pink ink from Catherine Pooler Stamps I stamped the ribbon from the Hope Ribbon set three times overlapping them just a little, next I stamped the greeting from the set Calling All Sisters in Versamark ink and embossed it in black. To finish the card I aded a piece of gold cord before adhering the panel to the base.

It's time for another challenge at AAA Cards, our sponsor is Happy Little Stampers with a $20 gift certificate to their store.

To make my card I started with a top folding white note card, some distress ink and the Shenanigans stamp set by CAS-ual Fridays. I stamped the Celebrate from the Shenanigans set using Versamark ink and then embossed it using white embossing powder, next I masked off the area around it using post-it notes and sponged on some Broken China distress ink. After I removed the post it notes I added the "today is all about you" in black using the MISTI and the Creative Corners to line it up. To finish the card I added some Nuvo enamel drops.

It's time for another challenge at Addicted to CAS, our sponsor is STAMPlorations with a $10 voucher to their store.

To make my card I used one of my favorite Christmas sets by The Ton, Holiday Bows. The bows from this set look so real. I started with a white top folding card base and a panel cut down with a stitched die by My Favorite Things.
Using the Original MISTI because there is no way I could stamp these without it, I stamped each layered bow with Catherine Pooler inks and added a greeting by My Favorite Things.
