Tea for Two

Today starts a new #staycrafty challenge over on A Blog Named Hero.
The challenge for the month of May is Tea For Two. Interpret that as you may. My take on it is to use two of something and I used two bees.

To make my card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel for the images. I stamped the floral image and the bees, colored them with OLO markers and cut them out with the coordinating dies.
For some fun I added a wobbler underneath one of the bees

It's release week at The Rabbit Hole designs and it's Mermaying!
The May release is all about mermaids and their surroundings.
To make my card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel.
I stamped the mermaid from the High Tide set, colored her using OLO markers and cut her out with the coordinating die.
I created a background for her by stamping ocean foliage from the Fin-Tastic setalong the bottom of the panel. I added the ocean and some color by using the Making Waves Stencil.

Smile

Today starts a new challenge at Addicted to CAS. Nancy is our hostess and she chose the code word ...

I am always looking to build up my birday card stash so I made a birthday card with the code word.
To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel. I used a older die by Pinkfresh studio to cut out the word smile. I had a watercolor panel in my stash of backgrounds and used it to cut out the word again and then added the watercolor pieces back in the negative spaces of the word smile.
To finish the card, I added a sentiment by Hero Arts.

Mixed Leaves

I am up on the CutCardStock blog today sharing this card.

To make this card, I started with a white side folding A2 card base. I use the precut and scored card bases because it saves time. For the leaves I used Lessebo cardstock in Brick, Blossom and Bubblegum. For the Brick and Bubblegum leaf I used a piece of white cardstock and ink blended it to make the colored cardstock. I created a background on the precut panel by using a stencil and ink blending colors to match the colored cardstock.

To finish the card, I popped up the leaves and added a sentiment embossed in white on black cardstock.
