Calling All Sistahs March Reminder

It's the 17 and that means it's time to Call All Sistahs to check your girls!
Mammograms are important but so are self checks and we are reminding you to do that today. This is my birthday month and also my month to schedule my mammogram. I have had several of my friends battle this horrible disease and have lost friends and my mom to breast cancer so please heed our reminder and check yourself.

Cancer can be beaten if caught early so please do self exams and get your mammograms once a year if thats what the doctor suggests. You can also help find a cure by purchasing products from the Calling All Sistahs line where 50% of the profits go towards breast cancer research.

To Make my reminder card I started with a top folding white note card and some of that gorgeous spring plaid paper by Lawn Fawn. I used the Ruffled Ribbon Fri-die to cut the plaid paper and then simply added a greeting to my card and popped up the ribbon. The greeting is from the Calling All Sistahs set. To finish the card and to cover up a smudge I added some Sistahood Sparkle.

50% of the profits go to breast cancer research on each product I used.

Bird is the Word

It's already time for another challenge at Addicted to CAS, I tell ya this past cookie weeks flew right by with being sick and all. I am finally feeling much better other than some major congestion, hopefully that will go away sooner than later.
Our sponsor this week is Happy Little Stampers and our code word is...

To make my card I used a couple of sets from the March release at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps, Birds & Blooms and Timeless Hymns.

It took me so long to make this card, y'all. Like an hour and a half. I colored the bird and then stamped the branches and colored them, got a huge smudge on it so I cut out the bird and then restamped the branches and then colored a couple of the leaves brown, so I restamped the branches again and this time I managed to get them colored correctly and the bird put on without a major mess up. The reason I say major is because on my third try, once again I got a smudge on the card but I think I did a pretty good job of covering it up. I am sure you can find it if you look closely, but it's a handmade card going to someone who needs a little encouragement and I am sure she will not judge me lol

Back Among the Living

I am slowly coming back among the living. I caught ebola while on vacation and have been suer sick since we got back from Disney this past weekend.
I made a card today for the new challenge at Addicted to Stamps & More. Our challenge is to make a holiday card and with Easter only two weeks away I decided to make an Easter card. It's a couple days late, but late is better than pregnant, unless you wanted to be pregnant then late is good :)

I used supplies from several different companies on my card. I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel cut down with a stitched die.
The egg is a die by Memory Box and it may be retired because its several years old. The patterned paper is by Lawn Fawn, I love their plaid papers and this one has the prettiest colors. The stamp set I used is also by Lawn Fawn and I colored it with Copic markers.

Oh So Sweet

Happy Sunday!
It's time for another challenge at AAA Cards!
Our sponsor is Happy Little Stampers with a $20 gift certificate.

For my card, I started with a top folding White card base and a piece of white cardstock to stamp and cut out the cupcake pieces from the Sprinkles bundle by Concord & 9th, it's a set that they collaborated with Ellen Hudson for United We Flourish.
I stamped the cupcake pieces with two different colors of Ombre' ink by Hero Arts, Mint Julep to Emerald Green and Pink to Red. Before popping up the cupcake I randomly stamped some sprinkles for it to sit on.
